The Casino Classic sister sites are Blackjack Ballroom, Captain Cooks, Casino Action, Casino Kingdom, Cosmo Casino, Golden Tiger, Grand Hotel, Grand Mondial, Luxury Casino, Players Palace, Quatro Casino, UK Casino Club, Villento, Yukon Gold and Zodiac Casino. All sixteen, including Casino Classic, are run by the Casino Rewards group.
New Zealand players cannot open an account at Casino Classic or at any of its sister sites. Casino Rewards does not take players from New Zealand at any of its sixteen casinos, and there is no exception for any single one of them. The casinos in the table below are not part of that group. They do take New Zealand players.
Casinos that take New Zealand players
Worth knowing: the casinos above are separate operators, not Casino Rewards brands. They take New Zealand dollars, they accept Kiwi players, and you can open an account at any of them in a few minutes. We have not checked their bonus terms or withdrawal rules for this page, so read each one’s own terms before you deposit.
One group runs all sixteen casinos
Every casino in this group is built on the same games platform, Games Global, which most players still know by its old name, Microgaming. Some of them also carry games from other studios such as Pragmatic Play, but the core software is shared. That is why the games look and play the same from one sister site to the next, and it is the clearest sign that the casinos are linked.
Casino Rewards was founded in 2000. Casino Classic itself says it has been running since that year too, and its own page puts its player count at over six million worldwide. Every player who joins one of the sixteen casinos in the group is also signed up to the Casino Rewards loyalty programme, which tracks points and rewards across all sixteen sites, not just the one you joined at.
Because one company owns and runs every casino in the group, they tend to work the same way underneath. Sign up takes the same few steps at each one, support is handled the same way, and every one of the sixteen sites works on mobile through a browser, so there is nothing extra to download to play from a phone.
Same group, different names and themes
Each of the sixteen casinos has its own name, its own colour scheme and its own look, even though one company sits behind all of them. Zodiac Casino uses a star-sign theme, Captain Cooks uses a sailing theme, and Casino Classic keeps a plainer, more traditional casino look. Underneath the different names and pictures, the sign up steps, the account area and the loyalty scheme all work the same way, because the same company built and runs every one of them.
This is worth knowing if you come across one of the other fifteen names online and wonder whether it is connected to Casino Classic. If the name is one of the sixteen listed at the top of this page, the answer is yes, and it carries the same New Zealand restriction that Casino Classic does.
Luxury Casino took over the closed brands
On 12 May 2026, Casino Rewards shut down thirteen of its older casinos. These were Aztec Riches, Casino Share, Challenge Casino, Colosseum Casino, Golden Reef, Lucky Emperor, Music Hall, Nostalgia Casino, Phoenician Casino, Rich Reels, Vegas Country, Vegas Slot and Virtual City.
Players who had accounts at any of those thirteen casinos were moved over to Luxury Casino. The old web addresses for the closed casinos now redirect visitors straight to Luxury Casino instead of the casino they used to point to. This makes Luxury Casino the biggest single casino in the group by player numbers, since it now holds both its own original players and everyone who came over from the thirteen closed brands.
The games and the live tables
Casino Classic does not publish a total count of how many games it offers, so we are not going to guess a number here. What its own site does confirm is a live dealer section running around the clock, with blackjack, roulette, baccarat and game-show style games streamed from a real studio with a real dealer, playable on desktop, tablet or phone. Some of these live games come from the studio Pragmatic Play.
Since all sixteen casinos in the group are run by the same company, the game libraries at the sister sites are built from the same pool of studios. The exact list of games can still differ a little from one sister site to another. Casino Classic’s site also does not list its accepted payment methods publicly, so we are leaving that detail out rather than guessing at it.
Signing up and what you will need
At any of the sixteen sister sites, opening an account means giving basic details such as your name, date of birth, email address and country. That part takes only a few minutes. What it does not include, for anyone based in New Zealand, is a way to actually finish the process, since the group does not accept a New Zealand address at the signup stage.
For players in countries the group does accept, identity checks come around the first withdrawal. Casino Classic’s own terms say it “reserves the right to ask Players for verification documents following deposits and/or prior to executing a withdrawal.” In practice this usually means a clear photo of a government ID, such as a driver’s licence or a passport, before the first payout goes through.
Getting your money out
Casino Classic’s own terms say a withdrawal “will be held in pending for 48 hours. Once 48 hours have passed, the withdrawal will be processed during the following business day.” How long it then takes to land in your account depends on the payment method, the payment processor and your bank, none of which the casino controls.
The same terms cap what you can take out if you win a lot more than you have paid in: “Players who win a sum substantially greater than their total purchases across all Casino Rewards partner casinos will only be able to withdraw their winnings at a sum of maximal $4000 per week” until the full amount has been paid out. A bank transfer withdrawal under 3,000 units carries a $50 USD (€35, £30) fee, and one over that amount carries a $100 USD (€70, £60) fee. A currency conversion, where it applies, adds a further 2.5% fee on top of the daily interbank rate. Casino Classic is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and carries an eCOGRA certification.
Two sisters with extra rules
Not every sister site treats every country the same way. Cosmo Casino and Casino Kingdom both carry extra country restrictions on top of the ones that apply to the rest of the group. If you are checking whether a sister site is open to you, read that casino’s own terms rather than assuming every sister site in the group works the same way for your country.
Why none of these casinos take Kiwi players
Casino Rewards keeps New Zealand on its own list of excluded countries, so nobody with a New Zealand address can sign up at any of the sixteen casinos in the group, no matter which one they try. There is no exception carved out for Casino Classic or for any of its sisters.
New Zealand also brought in a law of its own, the Online Casino Gambling Act, which came into force on 1 May 2026. Under this law, only a casino holding an official New Zealand online casino licence can legally take real money bets from people in New Zealand. Casino Rewards does not hold a New Zealand licence for any of its sixteen casinos, which makes it even less likely the group opens up to New Zealand players any time soon.
Where to play instead
The casinos listed in the table near the top of this page are the ones open to New Zealand players right now. They are run by different companies to Casino Rewards, they take New Zealand dollars, and Kiwi players can open an account and make a deposit at any of them. We have not covered their bonus terms or withdrawal rules in this article, so check each casino’s own terms page before you deposit, the same way you would with any online casino.
If you already have an account at Casino Classic or one of its sisters from before, that account stays where it is. What has changed is that no new player based in New Zealand can join any of them going forward.
There is no workaround worth trying here. Using a false address or a VPN to get around a country block breaks the casino’s own terms, and it can leave you unable to get a win paid out once you try to withdraw it. The simplest and safest option for a New Zealand player is to pick one of the casinos in the table at the top of this page, since those are the ones actually built to take New Zealand players and New Zealand dollars.
