The Yukon Gold Casino sister sites are Blackjack Ballroom, Captain Cooks, Casino Action, Casino Classic, Casino Kingdom, Cosmo Casino, Golden Tiger, Grand Hotel, Grand Mondial, Luxury Casino, Players Palace, Quatro Casino, UK Casino Club, Villento and Zodiac Casino. New Zealand players cannot open an account at Yukon Gold or its fifteen sister sites. Casino Rewards blocks every New Zealand address at sign up, at all sixteen casinos, no exceptions. A new law, the Online Casino Gambling Act, took effect on 1 May 2026. It says only a casino holding a New Zealand online casino licence can take real money bets from Kiwi players. What you need before you can play
Opening an account at any of the sixteen sister sites asks for a few basic details: your name, date of birth, email address and country. That part takes a few minutes. For a player in New Zealand, it does not matter, since the group does not accept a New Zealand address at that stage.
For players in countries the group does accept, the real identity check happens at your first withdrawal. You are usually asked for a clear photo of a government ID, such as a driver’s licence or a passport. Once that check is done, you should not need to send the same documents again for later withdrawals at that same casino.
Two of the sister casinos, Cosmo Casino and Casino Kingdom, add extra country restrictions on top of the rules that apply to the rest of the group, so check either one’s own terms before assuming it treats your country the same way.
How long a withdrawal actually takes
Yukon Gold’s own site does not have a working terms page covering withdrawal times, so the figures below come from Casino Rewards’ group-wide terms instead. A withdrawal sits in a pending state for 48 hours after you request it. Once that pending period ends, it moves to processing on the next business day. Your first withdrawal only goes through once your identity check is complete. If you win a large amount, the group caps what you can withdraw at $4,000 a week until the full sum has been paid out.
If you already play at Yukon Gold
If you opened an account at Yukon Gold, or at one of its sister sites, before today, that account stays exactly where it is. What has changed is that no new player based in New Zealand can join any of the sixteen casinos going forward.
There is no workaround worth trying here. Giving a false address or using a VPN to get around a country block breaks the casino’s own terms, and it can leave you unable to get a win paid out once you try to withdraw it. The safest option for a New Zealand player is one of the casinos listed in the table near the top of this page, since those casinos are actually built to take New Zealand players and New Zealand dollars.
